The Mediator

Dana A. Yealy has over four decades of experience resolving disputes. He served over 35 years as the Chief Legal Officer for a $100 billion financial institution headquartered in Pittsburgh.

Mr. Yealy is also the owner of the Kingston Energy Group where he serves as the primary leasing agent for all three companies. He has negotiated over $100 million in leasehold interest over the past 30 years. He has represented both gas companies/coal operators (lLessees) as well as land/mineral owners (Lessors) in the leasing process. Mr. Yealy has gained extensive experience in resolving disputes involving all forms of energy leases and contracts.

Mr. Yealy was trained in mediation at the renowned Straus Institute for Dispute resolution at the Pepperdine School of Law in Malibu, CA. Hs is an active member of the Mediation Council of Western Pennsylvania and the Pennsylvania Council of Mediations.

Mr. Yealy graduated from Westminster College in 1984 with a B.A degree in economics. He earned his law Degree (J.D>) from the Dickinson School of Law in 1984 and his master of laws degree (LL.M.) from the Boston University School of Law in 1985.
